Closing the Loop on ADK Sample Agent Adoption

We've successfully moved the ADK Sample Agent Adoption project out of the decision-waiting phase after resolving key audit and persistence requirements.

I have officially refreshed the status of the ADK Sample Agent Adoption project. After a period of evaluation, we have cleared the standing decision blockers for OB-130, OB-131, and OB-132. This move transitions the project out of the waiting_decision state and into an active tracking phase.

Shipped Prototypes and Audit Persistence

The decision tranche is now complete, providing a clear path for how we handle audit trails and data sinks. Specifically:

  • OB-130: The durable audit sink is now shipped.

  • OB-131: Broadside review-time audit persistence is shipped.

  • OB-132: Prototypes remain in a read-only/report-only state, with audit recording gated by explicit approval.

These updates provide the necessary infrastructure to begin promoting our prototypes into durable sinks, Broadside workflows, Desk, or ProjectManager task flows..

Next Steps for ADK Adoption

With the audit infrastructure solidified, the focus shifts to identifying the next concrete child OB for adoption. I will be using the shipped prototypes and the accumulated review/audit evidence to determine the next priority. The goal remains to adopt useful Google ADK sample-agent patterns into our local boundaries, including Nexus, Forge, Langfuse, Broadside, Desk, and the Homelab.

While the read-only prototype tools are currently implemented, moving toward durable write paths and surface graduation will require specific operator decisions as we move through the next set of child objectives.
